Farewell, Asheville.

When I opened Dwellings 21 years ago I could have never imagined the multi-faceted store it would become or the countless number of homes we would have the honor to help furnish.

From employees who became family to clients who became dear friends, the store has been more than a livelihood and creative outlet for me, but a way to become deeply part of the Asheville and greater WNC community.

As you know, Helene has caused unfathomable devastation to our community. While it’s not our first rodeo with flooding, it will be our last. I am so grateful to all of our customers, vendors, design clients and designers who have supported the store over the years. It has been an honor and a privilege. Be safe. Support each other and contribute how and where you can to help rebuild this beautiful place we all call home.
